New Year, New Office, New Structure

New Year, New Office, New Structure
Having seen hundreds of people move in to new, Blueprint-developed offices and homes over the past few years, we’ve recently had a move ourselves.

Following news of its closure, we took the opportunity to relocate from East Midlands Development Agency to newly refurbished offices in Nottingham’s historic Lace Market.

EMDA’s offices, and the flexibility they afforded, served us well for five years while we established ourselves as a specialist developer and built up our team. Now, with our own identity as a sustainable developer, a more permanent home suits us well – you’ll find us at 50 St. Mary’s Gate, next to the Keane’s Head pub and overlooking St. Mary’s Church, with Nottingham Contemporary just around the corner. We’ve taken the first floor of an attractive former mill building, part of Nottingham’s famous lace-making legacy and just a minute away from the nearest tram stop and five minutes from the train station.

EMDA’s closure has also meant a change in our shareholding structure. Whereas previously the public sector’s 50% representation on Blueprint’s Board came jointly via EMDA and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), EMDA’s share has now transferred to HCA, making us 50/50 partnership between Aviva Investors’ Igloo Regeneration fund and the HCA. A time of change then; but the mission remains the same – delivering innovative, well designed, sustainable, regeneration projects. Over the course of the coming year, we’ll be sharing more news of what we’re working on. There’s a lot going on…
